Judo Camp in Vodnany reminded us that the end of the holiday season is at hand. That's why we tried to enjoy this week to the fullest and with friends from Prague, Písek, Strakonice and Klecany we definitely succeeded. 116 small and big judo players took part in the tenth jubilee Judo Camp in Vodnany. Like every year we enjoyed a lot of sports and social activities. There was everything that inherently belongs to our common Vodňany week - morning warm-ups with music, bicycles, softball, volleyball, football, Indian handball, swimming pool, various competitions, singing with guitar and disco. In addition, we went scuba diving at the swimming pool with unadulterated scuba air. But the most important thing for us is of course judo. All age groups had intensive training every day and friendly randori at the end. Some passed the exams to get a higher kyu. The youngest campers measured their strength in a skills competition, where they showed the judges what they had learned throughout the week. This year's Vodnany is over and we will try to live up to the words of judo founder Jigor Kan, which along with his portrait adorned our t-shirts this year, " It doesn't matter if you are better than others. What matters is that you are better than yesterday."
